Hchouma means disgrace, but also taboo, shame, myth and gossip. In Morocco, the biggest Hchouma for women is to have a bastard child. Unmarried women are condemned by society. The film tells of the encounter of a student with a young woman, who has been cast out by her family and tries to survive with the help of the organisation “Solidarité Féminine”.
