Mbogos Harvest

A film about two worlds and their different relationship to one raw material; about markets, working conditions, human beings and interdependence. A case study about cotton farmers in a Tanzanian village - and about the speculators, consumers and workers overseas. The film shows the background of our daily uniform - „blue jeans“ and expresses the hopes of the poor farmers of Mbogo for a better international economic order.
