A film about the media south of the Sahara – of the Tam Tam and the Griots, of courtiers and minstrels, of bootlickers and censors, but also of Africans, who fight for freedom of speech – then and now. It also depicts a chronicle of democracy and of the development of the radio in the west African country of Mali.
